cool to see someone else that does it. the only other person i know that does it is my dad. im sure there are others out there that do it by hand. what do you use to etch? i use a dremel tool with a diamond tip bit.

Ive used the etch paste you get at hobby stores and an engraver like you would put your name on tools with. Got to be real careful with an engraver on thin glass. Dont ask!!! I love the paste for the fact all I need is an exacto knife and some white contact paper.

ive never use the etching paste. didnt even know they make such a thing. if you have a dremel tool you should try it. i went out and bought a few picture frames and learned on that. the best bits to use are the bits that have a ball on the end with diamond shards. it works like a tattoo gun. works real sweet. ive mad a few bucks doing friends car windows. its a nice conversation piece at car shows and car gatherings. right now im learning to etch designs on metal so i can paint my warrior frame and do some sort of design on the frame. ill get pics of my stock warrior bumper when i finish it and clear coat it.

Some old picture frames is how I started out to, now thats funny. Got a generic dremel, just have to figure out where it ended up after last summer. Used it when me and a buddy were getting our boats ready and havent seen it since. The metal idea sounds like it could be cool. As for car shows never did any for something to show so, I really couldnt make money doing it. With all the wanna be street racer guys around here maybe I should start doing it agian.LOL

find that dremel of yours and get to work man. i would love to see someone elses work. and there is money to be made because there are not alot of people doing it. as for the metal, if done right looks really sick. i want to paint my frame red and etch barb wire all down the frame.this could start a whole new custom look to quads and bikes.

See what I can do. I think somewhere I have a mirror I did, unless it got broke one of the times I moved. God I wish I could remember!!! LOL
If I cant find that dremel, Ill go pick up some new etching paste and come up with something to do it on. Maybe when I finally get the winshield in my truck replaced Ill etch SUPER DUTY in it, instead of getting a sticker done. HMMM

def should etch super duty on the windshield. stickers wear off over time. etchings last forever. thats been my selling point with my friends. they put aftermarket stuff on there cars then load up there window with stickers that come off over time. once its etched its there till the window breaks or they sell the car.lol keep me posted on this man. good luck and get pics when you do it.

Windshield will be a little while considering its almost $300 for a new one. Ill definalty will post some pics once I get the stuff agian.

NICE, Keep up the coolness. My buddies are all musically talented. I just sing. I'm good with words. I have an axial RC offroader that is fun to mess with. The warrior is my hobby, and hobbies are expensive! How can one find time and money for more then one hobby??? My fiancee wishes she was my hobby. Hahahah

bwahaha i tell my wife to think of it this way, would she rather have me out riding and playing guitar, or out getting drunk at bars meeting random girls. she see's my point :)

jgray of u picked up a crate halfstack for free im jealous! nothing screams like a crate! and elwood, i now have a christmas idea for the father in law. we tear up lake fork down here! my other hobby was drag racing. did it for over 10 yrs, but 200 bucks everytime i loaded the car for nitrous and fuel got a bit much!and that is if nothing broke or blew up!:argh:

My other Hobbies, well Motorcycles and Guns.
In the last 2 years I have had several different motorcycles
- KDX200
- Honda XL600R
- 2003 Suzuki Marauder
- Suzuki GS750E(Wicked Fast for an old school bike)
- And my current rider an 82 GL1100I. Fast bike, wit excellent handling.

As far as guns go, in the last 5 years, I have obtained several hundred. You name it, and more than likely I have had it. I have slowed down on the guns though, and have changed the direction in which I'm heading.
I love me some guns!
