Need Advice

I picked up a 95 warrior in a trade that had been in storage for a few years. It was rebuilt but I do not think the head was rebuilt and it seems to have a lot of slack n the timing chain. I know the rings were changed and the bottom end was checked out. It will start but it smokes real bad and the throttle has to be worked to keep it running. I bought a new Mikuni carb and a rebuild kit with a hot cam, piston and a new pipe.

Thanks for any advise, I'm a old 2 stoke fan and have not worked many 4 strokes.

You need to check where your tensioner is at, if it is all the way out it is time for a new chain. Need more details about the smoke...

Yes on timing chain and is it smoking just on startup or all the time

It smokes all the time, I think it might be valve seals..
