I am interested in a big bore kit. I dont want to spend that much on just a 366 for a few hp improvement. I heard from another person you can get a 400 kodiak head, but I looked and the highest comp is 8:6:1 against the warriors 10:5:1 thats a big difference and would screw things up to me. I dont want to spend a fortune but just want bored, cam, valve, springs, and high comp piston, posibly a hot rods crank. any info would help cause I am so confused.

so does the 366 JE kit improve that much power with a different cam, vavles, and springs? if so wat all should I get.

I run a 366 kit and love it, but sorta wish I opted for the .390 cam instead.

For the 400 kit, runnin the kodiak head is what you opt for or pop in a stage 1 hotrods stroker. (stage 2 you have to chave the case) Runnin a higer comp pistin in the kodiak souldent give you any issues, just more power.

but the highest compression is 8:6:1 they dont have high comp. what i researched any way. should i call that 4 stroke tech ? or what else cause i will be wanting to order one or the other before long.

i just got off the phone with four stroke tech and 195 for high compression piston and 165 for cam with exchnge of old one. wat number of cam should i get would you prefer.i mainly ride fast trails

Fast trails the .430, quick and tight trails the 390.

You can get a higher comp piston that is to the bore of the head. You'd just be using the jug right? so you'd need a warrior piston anyways in it, due to the valves.

The 400 and the 410 kit are just a high comp piston and a sleve but you need you case bored to get ill try and find the website for you...but the 400 kit is 325

so dead last how much gain did you feel with your 366 and cam.
i might do the 366,.390,and port & polish.

i have the 366, .390 cam, +1 valves, HD springs, P&P, full yoshi, and open air box. i haven't got to ride it yet but i can tell when i first started it up it has alot more throttle response and revs so much faster. the exhaust note is alot deeper too.

thanks man! the piston is a JE. i highly recommend the Advanced machining. very professional guy. best of all it only took him 5 days to finish it and ship it back to me, nothing like a good turn around!

Mine was a little less but I was lucky to get slightly used parts and did most of the work myself. I think mine was around 500ish all together. Only different is I run a 11:1 JE and and a .430 cam. (DMC exhaust too but that is a minute variance). But I don't have a +1 job either, I'd pay the difference for that!
