need help please

i have a 97 yamaha warrior i rebuilt it after it set in pieces for 7 years got it rebuilt bypassed the parkbrake and removed rear brakes atm, took the clutch sensor out and unhooked it because the quad wont start with the sensor hooked up and if i hook the wires together it wont start and it wont let me shift into reverse the quad runs and rides and starts right up wat is the problem i have checked my grounds and still does it any help is greatly appreciated in advance fellow yfm350 riders

What do you mean it won’t let you shift into reverse?
It won't go into reverse or it shuts off when you try to shift into reverse?

thanks guys and yea it dies as soon as i pull the reverse lever out of drive

make sure the green wire is connected good at the reverse shifter if it's loose it will do that

yep connected good and the ground is clean

found and fixed the problem had the clutch sensor wire(black 1 with the yellow stripe) plugged into the killswitch wire from handle bars well my buddy made the mix up lol not me
