I need one banshee front shock to use on the rear of my sister's 250ex. Suspension sucks balls on that thing! Would only really like to pay shipping for it because I do not know how well it will work. But, I will pay if that is what people are wanting.

Pat this works great if you are looking for a softer ride. If you are looking for better performance, I put a 660 shock body with a yfz front spring. This works good also.
And yes the suspension sucks on those things.
I have two of those bikes and run one of each combination.
If you want some new stock stuff hit me up when I get back.
Good luck finding better fronts. I paid out the nose for the Works on Megan's.
And don't try the 400ex front a arm mod on 3ww it doesn't work right. I tried it.

Oh I already installed +2 ASR arms on the little sucker, and + 3.5 rear wheel hubs from Tusk. Handles soooooo much better. The front shocks ain't too bad now with the plus 2 arms. My sister likes it thus far. Just need to ditch the shitty rear shock. The Shee front should be all she needs. She mainly uses it around the farm then will hit Hatfield 2-3 times a year. BUT... The 660/YFZ combo sounds slick! Lret me know dude I want to get this little bastard done! the damn ASR hiem balljoints froze up on it at Hatfield two weeks ago. I ordered some new metal to metal hiems from Fullflight. They came in today, and they were for a Yamaha :/

I had the same damn problem with the Heims on Megan's bike. It pissed me off talking to ASR about them that I won't ever buy anything else from them.
I called a place out of Indiana that sells joint way cheaper. QS something, that's where I got replacements. Fast shipping.
The banshee is a plus for the bike though.

Yeah man they pissed me off, too. They replaced all of James' hiems, but, when I talked to Ron, he told me to soak them in oil or WD40 and they will free up. WHAT!!!!!!! They are frozen! That's; F R O Z E N, FROZEN! Just replace them please! That's what a ******* warrenty is for! So yeah, I bought new hiems from Fullflight. I use them on my custom arms I built, and other then a little squeaking when dry, I have had no problems with them. It just pisses me off. He keep saying to just oil them and they will free up. I told him several times, that I sprayed them with WD40, I poured engine oil on them, let them sit for a week, tried working the bars side to side, the are still frozen!!!!!!!!!

Yep
Try QS in the future they have about all sizes and parts to build arms. Great people.
He told me I messed them up and use some good 3/1 oil and it will fix them. Not sure how many gallons needed.

I will keep that in mind! Everyone says that Shee shock makes the EX sit an inch lower. that true?

You ordered from QSC8 on ebay! That's where I have gotten the DOM and bungs for my arms. I never thought to ask them about hiems because I'm not too familiar with them, and it was just easier to order the one piece units. lol

Thanks! I think I'm just going to get a SHEE for it. That is really all she'll ever need. Something that rides better and won't beat the **** out of her lower back.

I gave Alex a set of banshee fronts I don't think they fit his 87 ask him maybe he will trade something with ya
