You stole my paint job idea. :(

I just painted mine red and black but with alot more red than you. Those two colours really look good together.

[quote:eek:oyhdlrn]I said on the way but I am actually gonna order them tonight. Still trying to decide but prolly renthals. My buddy has them on his ex and he has bent two steering stems in rollovers but hasn't bent the bars yet. Pretty impressive. I really want red anodized bars so I will probably just go with the best set that come in that color

I dont know about you... but id rather trash a few sets of cheap aluminum bars that are 20 bucks a peice rather than 200 dollar steering stems.[/quote:eek:oyhdlrn]

i just checked ebay and the most expensive steering stem i found was $220 and that was for a lonestar racing made out of 4130 chromoly. cheapest was $50 buy it now with $25 shipping. steering stems are not too expensive (not $200) but i agree that $20 is cheaper. i would say that you get what you pay for on bars though. i only run pro taper bars. havent broken a set. i bent my first set in a crash at the steering stem mount but that was the 7/8" bars and my quad rolled 4 times and went airborne. i run the oversize 1 1/8" now and have never had a problem with them. damn great bars for $80. i would definitely recommend them since i have heard that they are stronger than renthals (dont remember where so dont hold me to it, im not saying its the definite truth). pro taper's service is great too. i lost a bolt on my 7/8" bars that held on the cross bar and when i e-mailed them i asked them how much a new bolt would be and if they could send me one. they just sent me a new set (2 bolts) for free and threw in some stickers as well. great company and great product. just my few cents on that.
