Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself.

I just picked up a 2002 Warrior from a good friend of mine, so I know exactly how it has been taken care of. Its spotless and looks almost brand new. I'm excited to be here and can't wait to start riding the Warrior.

I also own a 2006 Special Edition Banshee (yellow and black Yamaha 50th anniversary edition). My wife and I ride 100% dunes out here, and the Warrior will be great for her to ride while I ride my banshee.

I look forward to learn as much as possible about Warrior's, and any advise would be appreciated. One question I do have, I know oil is a big personal preference but whats the best oil to run in this. I've always ran Amsoil in my 4 strokes and Klotz in my banshee.

Any oil that is safe for wet clutches, so most any atv oil will ok in the warrior, I know orielly's has some atv oil, and carry's lucas atv oil. Do NOT use automotive oil, if it has a api seal on the back or says energy conserving its not good in these wet clutch systems. There is a member here that use rotella oil in his and hasn't had any problems.

Nice to see the admins finally got your registration worked out man. Im one of the guys that runs rotella in both of my Warriors. Been running it in the 98 for atleast the last 3 years and it hasnt had a problem yet. On the 99 since I got the motor running this spring.

Thanks for helping me get that worked out. My buddy is running Yamalube in it right now, and it has about 10-15 hours on since full rebuild. I'll have to check out the Rotella

The Rotella is great price wise, Ive seen or heard of it priced between $11 and $13 a gallon. Which compared to some of the oils is cheap. I also happen to run it in my Powerstroke, so I always have a little extra form changing its oil.
