I have blue plastics, and white shock all around.. Well here is a picture of it.

Ya i know i cant decide on the color for the a arms and swing arm. but i dont want to do them the same color as the frame.

totally unrelated but does yoru clutch cable melt form laying onthe exhaust?

no its not really laying on the exhaust even though it looks like it in the pic.

i also notice that you have no front brakes. Thats gotta hurt you when trying to corner hard?

If you wanna use yellow i would go yellow frame blue arms

I would personally paint the frame metallic blue (duplicolor intense blue pearl looks sweet), and for the front a-arms paint the uppers subaru silver and the lowers also intense blue pearl, and the swingarm subaru silver. I think it'll blend much more nicely with the blue plastics (were you really considering yellow?!?) and with using alternating colors like that will give it sort of the look of having aftermarket parts even though they're all stock. I always wanted to do a quad with that color combo but never had the chance, i know it'll look sweet.

And do you know you can restore those blue plastics, and get the white stress marks out of them, or at least reduce it? You'll need a heat gun, about $20, and very carefully heat up the plastics with it. You gotta keep it moving constantly, if you leave it in one area too long it'll melt, but do it right, and those plastics will look a hell of a lot better.

By the way, here's what intense blue pearl paint looks like, sort of a metallic pearlescent color (the hood stripes on my 84 dodge van i restored)

Paint the frame "Black Night Metallic" its a rustoleum color i believe

You should also go over your plastics with a heat gun or propane torch. Itll get rid of the white stress marks that are allover them.

Ok thanks for all the input here is what im thinking, Its like a really dark Grey almost black is kinda metallic colored with real small silver flakes in it for the frame. And True blue by krylon for the a arms and swing arm. What does everyone think?

Charcoal gray metallic looks pretty good on the frame, but i'd still say use a metallic blue for the a-arms and swinger, the metallic colors really make it pop better than a plain solid blue.

Make sure you give it a few coats of good clearcoat if you want it to look shiny and hold up for more than a couple rides. Don't use the 94 cent walmart enamel crap either, use plati-kote or something similar.

ok the metallic blue I found is like REALLY shiny! It looks like this except a little lighter (and i know the cars is super gay looking) lol

The rustoleum "Black Night Metallic" is what youre looking for, its metallic grey thats almost black. I just got a few cans to do the frame on my warrior with. The "True Blue" by Krylon is almost exactly Suzuki blue from the 80's.... Its what i painted my LT230 Frames with. I think a you need to go with a metallic blue. Id do the lower A arms with a metallic blue and the upper A arms and swingarm with aluminum look paint

Ok I have the frame painted with the metallic black LOOKS AWESOME!!! will post pics after clear coat. I was thinking I cant paint the a arms and swing arm metallic blue because I have done some painting on the hubs front and rear with a different color blue and it will not look good at all with the two different colors of blue. What about a different color for the a arms and swing arm. Here are some pics of the other stuff i have painted with the other blue color.

Rear brake disc

Rear hubs, sprocket hub and brake disc ....again

The front hubs are the same color as the rear hubs.

I was just looking and you can see the front hubs in the picture I posted at the top.

Also i was wanting to paint the steering stem, rear axel and tie rods chrome, but i dont know how to get the paint to stick well to the axel, steering stems and tie rods.

if you were to paint them you would have to same them a bit to get some what of a rough surface for the paint to stick to. and lightly sand it after each coat just like you would if you were painting a car

alright i was thinking i would have to do something like that but wasn't sure. Any suggestions on the a arms and swingarm

Tyler, you know you can go back and edit your post and add more to them right? No need for 100 short sentence reply one right after another. ANYWAYS, why don't you just paint them the same color blue? Tha'd look good.
