Put a valve stem cap on top of the accel pump rod. That will limit the gap between the plastic lever and rod to a few thous of an inch. Did it on mine and works great. Much better throttle responce. I have not done the spring trick, but the way I have my carb set up I'm very happy with it.
 
just rusted lol no pitting
spray some WD-40 on it and rub it down with a rag and repeat over and over till the rust is gone then spray it down with a light coat of WD-40 before and after every ride and it will prevent it from rusting used to do that on my chromed rims on blazer works good
 
prob just getting a lone star axle eventually. rode her today and my dam solinod took a ****...o well. also looking for a different bumper and fenders just want to change her up a bit considering ditching my headights to

well if you do get a lone star I may be interested in your Dura blue if you'd want to sell for the right price?
what fenders you looking for different color? I have a set of blue front and rears
 
i want rid o it either way lol i may go to stock i am not sure yet:/ got to get my eyeball light covers to if i keep me lights:))
 
best pic i have o the axle but its straight as a arrow just has rust...not even pitted checked it t-day
 
ok. there she be. i may just go back to stock for now and build my ass end all at once so if ya interested just let me know when ya want it
 
ok.....not overpricing it as it is used and all but still serves its purpose...plus i need some parts myself lol
