Dude just talk him down to 2000 then just use all that extra cash to pimp out the engine with a rebuild and it will rip faster than an 09 and have more mods on it.

Thats just me though, i love rebuilding stuff and having old stuff that rocks harder than new stuff. Thats why i had a warrior lol. That thing would rape 400's
