newb with problem

my son bought a 2000 warrior it has a new battery,spark plug, carb joint boot,carb cleaned and still wont run.it has been sitting for bout 8 months before he got it.it was running when parked the guy said it smoked and stopped running. it turns over but thats it.

does it have spark , gas , and conpression

got a spark and compression, but we have been told the carb is stopped up so majorly that it is not delivering gas to the motor.

take the carb apart and soke everything thats not rubber in carb cleaner for 24 hours then blow compressed air thew all the passages

you should also check the petcock

If ya wanna be sure it's carb related, crank it over while spraying 2+2 in the air filter side of the carb. Just a few squirt at a time. If everything else is right, she'll hit & you can rule out ignition.
