Has anyone had a yfm nikasil cylinder nikasil plated? The stuff seems to work pretty good. I have a 06 yfz I race and 2 years I locked yfz the crank to my surprise the cylinder was still in perfect shape. Many hours of practice and 22 races later is when I had to replace the crank and still did not need to bore it!! I ran the warrior for one season on a fresh rebuild and now smokes like a hell. I am going to do a complete modsteration on the mighty warrior this winter and am just curious if nikasil works on dinosaurs the same way? By the way I bought the yfz used and have no idea how it was taken care of before I got it.
