I ran this oil in mine... Then the rod broke in half and smoked the case too..

Your rod breaking had nothing to do with the Rotella T6, It probably had to do with oil neglect up to that point.
If anything using the reg. triple T Rotella (dinno) 15-40 would be harder (way harder) (@ startup) on this engine ran during winter months.

Valvoline also makes a fine product, they do dino and syn 4-cycle oils that have a decent tolerance to fuel and foam.
