before i started working on my warrior i rode it awhile and it only idles on choke. But idles high when on choke i think the carb just needs cleaned and also it has a bad time starting sometimes maybe cuz winter but i have to use starting fluid alot what do you guys think?

pilot is prolly clogged, might want to go up one size pilot while ur in there for easier winter starts.

so probably just that and a good card cleaning ya think?

also theres like a down spout of some sort on the carb that will spit out gas on the top of the bottom end of the engine sometimes anyone know what that could be?

I bet your float is sticking open leting the gas overflow throw the tube. Thats the overflow tube so when it flipped over the gas has somewhere to go.

^X2 clean it out good, adjust the float, check the intake boot for cracks/holes, adjust your idle to 1600/1800rpm and check your jetting it could be way lean

If your going to do that, go the full 9 yards and do a good cleaning, get a clean of b12 or carb cleaner, if you have a air gun use it too but carefully, and clean and spray every hole port jet, needle jet, take the jets outs and hole them up to a light and see if you can see through them or if they are blocked. Take your time and clean it real good.

oh and since you in there anyway you might as well do the clicker pen mod, when you take the bowl off there is a spring for the acel. pump, change it out with one from a clicker pen, it's a stronger better spring, and will give you better throttle response.

On that mod elwood can you use a stiffer spring than a click pin or take the spring out and put something else thats solid so there is not any kind of delay it would be instant response or would that be too much.

alright it needs a good cleaning for sure thanks guys ill let u know how it works out later

I think someone tried making it solid and it didn't work out
