i am new to this site but not new to a warrior, this may be already posted but i have not found, but i would like to know if anyone has painted there frame and how they did it and what would be the best way to do it myself please help thanks

Welcome ! Yes you might as well PC for the $$ and hastle . Ive done the paint route and its not fun .

I agree with the powdercoat. Painted mine last year after spending a day sandblasting and priming... it has held up well, but some areas are already worn and I bet will be seeing rust there by the end of this year.

Powdercoat, while its not wear proof, it is a heck of a lot more resistant than paint, and if you are going through the hassle, then may as well put a little more into it.

I did mine my self fists stripped it to the bare frame sanded it one good coat of primer 2 or 3 coats of paint then 2 or 3 coats of cleaR coat and your good to go!

I rattle caned mine. I think I if I were to pay to powercoat it and then at the first chip, I'd feel duped/ripped off. Were as with the rattle can, if I nick the frame so what, its a $3 touch up and looks new again. Then again.....If i had some extra money lyin around I think Id go get the PC down.

I sandblasted the frame, hand sanded it at spots, Primer, sand again, then three layers of paint, 2 gloss coatings and your good! Its a lot of work but the end result is nice.
