I have 2pistons a vertex. 40 over 10.25:1 and a je 83mm 12:1 which 1 should i go with the je requires a plate under the jug which i have. But both need rings. So question is which is my better choice. Also that vitos timing key would it work right with stroker kit i have.

wait how you going to run a oem replacement piston in a stroker????? id go with the JE but it will take race fuel and re sleeved because its a stock bore piston

I have a plate that was machined to go under the jug to accomadate for where the wrist pin was located and i have another jug setup for 83mm. I know runnin the 83 will take away displacement but im sure its prolly not that much anyone know what a 7mm and 83mm would be the 7mm and 84mm is a 397. I just want it to run better will the 12:1 add that much more than the 10.25:1

ah ok i got it now id still run the JE but you still will need race fuel

12:1 will outrun the 10.25:1 setup for sure you shouldnt loose much displacement

No it don't predetination is before the spark plug fires it would not effect anything but the power output with a timing advance key

No it won't predetination is before the spark plug fires so it wont matter if its advanced or not if its gonna predetinate its gonna predetiate regardless of the advanced timing
