plz help

hi i just got my 1988 yamaha warrior and when i first start it it wont stay running and when i do get it running it runs good but when i stop and try to get it to idle it dies....I dont know why could the carb need cleaned?ANY SUGESTIONS PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK?

Pilot jet is probably clogged clean the jets and carb and your golden

Yep clean the carb, always the first place to start with an issue like that. Besides that its almost free to do!!
