I finally decided to start polishing my cases, spent 2 full days got tired and only got 1 just without paint. Is there any place I can send my clutch, and stator cover off and get it polished? I need a cheap cost too!
i got most of the paint off the clutch cover, besides the bolt holes, and the stator cover i havn't even touched it. Would like to have them done by spring by some one so I can put a clear pc on and get to riding.

yea im getting a gytr, but i'm talkin bout the hole stator holder. not the cover. I plan on making my side covers and cases polished, and a polished sprocket cover. and getting my engine painted a high temp silver or something to look nice but holds up. and then doing a white frame, with blue a arms, swingarm, hubs, and bunch of other stuff.

Elbow grease. If you're tired of doing it why would someone else do it cheap?Try a fine wire brush on a drill and dremel, then polish with coarse to fine compounds.Takes work but looks good.

i didnt mean like for free, what ever price somebody offers, and i just dont have time to do it any more i hardly have time to ride.

why not purchase a harbor freight power buffer special.. you can use it to buff ANYTHING anddd...charge others to do it.. theres a guy on my truck forum that polishes tail lights.. wet sand and polish.. and sells them and clears 20 bucks on top.

look, i just did my side case covers in about 30minutes with some stuff from lowe's called (jasco paint remover) paint it on and let sit for twenty minutes..........wipe off with old rags and then polish or paint them! the jasco cost me 9.bucks and no sweat at all...........it was way to easy and look brand new! i almost dont want to powder coat them. almost!!!

I have done this to mustang wheels, one way is to go to wal-mart
and buy the airplane paint stripper and strip the paint, don't leave it on too long. Buff with a small buffer about 3in, usng a rough compound and gradually step down to a polish/wax.
I do know that different grades of aluminum will not polish out verry brilliant and you will have to keep them polished.
