I am rebuilding my 98 warrior. Is powder coating the frame worth the extra money over just painting it?

Depends. If u take it to a paint shop to get it painted like a car with a clear coat you can get touch up paint and the paint is more flexible. Plus it scratches instead of chipping.

I see your in MI. Talk to QC Coatings and get a quote. I have gotten all my stuff done there and they are easy on the wallet and great service

POORBOY PERFORMANCE! Best guy for powersports coating. He is located near Port Huron, in Emmett. PC, like stated above, is Wayyy better

Spray paint isn't good but im telling you that if you get your frame painted like a car with a clear coat its better solely on the fact that you can get touch up paint.

Hmmm....... what about rhino liner on a frame?

That's the best thing to do but it makes the bike about 10-20 pounds heavier. That's what I did to my swingarm and Grab bar. Looks cool too.

Totally. I saw a quad with it on the plastic, possibly the ugliest plastics evar. Also agree on the camo. I would go through riding pants so fast from rubbing on the frame and plastics, stuffs like sandpaper.

Well to get it "rhino lined" is different then getting herculiner or bed armor stuff. They all have a different texture and/ or color shade.

My worries would be what the heat from the engine would do, I could see it heating up and turning into a gooey, melted eye sore
