It wont melt and won't chip off. I was going to do it but instead I got a $450 paint job for. Once $50. Benefits of my job are awesome.
 
Damn! i didn't know it had a high heat resistance. I guess i should of done some research before i made my comment.

450 bucks for a paint job!!!???On just the frame??? WHo did it? Sounds way over priced to me. Is it just car paint?
 
Its a collision shop. Yeah I know. That's the price of the paint. It s not cheap. Plus it was blasted, primed, painted, clear coat, cooked.

Im a painter, i know all about the pricing and procces. And the prices just keep goin up. I paid 150 for my frame, heel gaurds, headlight cage, brake/shifter levers and some smaller brackets to be pc'd matte black... It last alot longer and is way tougher than wet paint.

I also PC for my work, soo i know alot about this
 
Cool. My dad painted cars for a while. I wish he still did so he could do a custom job. And its not soft paint either. I was banging a bolt in and a bare metal hammer did not chip the paint at all when it made contact. I wish I rhino lined it tho.

Rhino liner is great for longevity thats for sure
