problem with my warrior

it wont start with push button but jump the starter relay and it will fire up so i thought it was the realy put new one on and still nothing does anyone have any idea on how i can fix this i had jumping the relay to start it kinda sucks.:loco:
 
i know with mine my actual push button and light switch assembly was messing up. i took it apart and cleaned the connections and it was fine but now its acting up again. could be that

If you can jump the relay or solenoid and it starts right up then you have a issue with the start button or something else along that line, it wouldn't be the battery if it starts on its own. Make sure the button is making contact, and there isnt a wire unplugged or making a bad connection to do with the start button. Also is there any of the safety switches been messed with? If they have it might make the start button not work but jumping relay could bypass it.
 
check all your connections and make sure all are pluged in all the way. if they are all connected, pull them apart and clean the metal taps. if that dont work check for loose or broken wires.most times it a dirty connector
 
make sure all your wires are pluged into your cdi. 87 had the same problem and a wire at the cdi got unpluged
 
not had time to find problem yet but thanks to everyone for your reply ill try and get to it this weekend
