Its just funny people will spend 90% of their paycheck on bumpers nerf bars, and countless hours painting lttle things and changing oil every 10 hours, bbk, carb upgrade. But people always go with suspension last and cheap, totally opposite.
Do something different than the ole' banshee shock swap that has been done zillion times.
Make it your own and different, thats what makes it all fun and worth it.

^^^and doesn't cost more than the quad itself

I have shee fronts and 660 rear and I spent a total of $90 for all 3 shocks and it is the best upgrade ride wise I have done so far

ive read about just heating the airbox and bending in the sump to make room for the reservoir, or simply cutting it off. well my plan is to cut it off, at a slight angle... with that angle, im going to jbweld (go figure:loco:) a piece of lexan onto it to cover the open hole. the angle is going to allow water to collect in one end incase any gets in the airbox, and the lexan will allow me to see it without taking the lid off. at some point im going to put put in a bolt or something to drain the water if need be. ill post up pics along the way but i just wanted to see what everyone thinks about it

This is what i did with a heat gun, use paint can and wood to push in, i thought that 1st mark was all i had to move-----WRONG! Well its worked well so far, i had free epoxy, so i used alot:tup:

I'm going to get my shee rear resprung to my weight I think too. And Henry, I'd love to have a works or something like that, I'm a nursing student and work a job that pays me 10 bucks an hour, cheap upgrades are what I can do. I wish I had time for fab work but it's few and far between.

After Monday ill be back at this and get the ball rolling again! I gotta study all this weekend.
