i was just wondering i have a 99 warrior done to the tits
first Q is these edlebrock crab or the z400 crab do that make a big diff for power top speed **** like that next Q is
will a 660 raptor motor fit in a warrior i hate the warrior
motors the bottom end all ways has problems that why i was thinking of going to a raptor motor and in stud of going to a 400 dollar crab spend 600 for a raptor motor

Any motor swap will be a lot of work, especially something taller than the warrior's motor, the 660 motor for example. The 660 is definitely not what you would call a bulletproof motor either, if you have trouble with the warrior's bottom end, which is virtually indestructible, you'll have some real fun keeping a 660 together.

As far as carbs go, the difference you notice depends greatly on what is already done to your motor. On a mostly stock one the noticable difference will be minimal, while on the other hand a built bored stroked cammed ported motor would probably see a more noticable gain from a larger carb like the one from the z400. One thing you would definitely notice once the carb is fine tuned, regardless of your other engine work, is that you will get much better throttle response from a good carb.

If you get a raptor motor stay away from the 01's they have transmition problems.
