Raptor 350 making werid noise when startin

The starter is like making loud noise like its not starting up right but it starts. Like clanking noise kinda werid.

Man, no disrespect but I can't take away anything from that description & I'm fairly certain that that's the reason you haven't gotten any replies. A lil more detail please.

they do that some times .... most times it means your starter clutch is going but it can do that for a long time before it goes

Mine was pretty bad when I got it. I put a used one from another engine I have and it helped, but still noisy. They are about $80-$100 for an OEM one and kind of a pain to change. I had to drill out the bolts on mine. It had allen head bolts and half of them rounded out. The ones on the other one were torx and I was able to reuse them.
