ok i know a few of u guys in here have the 350 raptor ok im goin to try and buy a new quad heres my deal the 700 raptor is kinda expensive but i rode my buddys 660 and loved it to death  and i know that the 700 has to be faster but at the same time i looked at a 350 raptor at the yamaha dealer that was a special edition black with the orange grill and a arms like i love about the 700 ok but heres my problem i guess my warrior is gettin slow i dont know if its cuz its old and wore out(most likely its been beat on real hard its whole life i was told i bought it very very used) so is the 350 raptor any better than the warrior or are they the same just new and better lookin plastics or do i Anne up the dough and get a 7000 dollar (god i didnt even pay that for my car) 700 raptor or just rebuild mine and see if it helps or sell it and buy the 350 raptor basicly im just tired of fixin stuff on my ol wore out warrior and just keep thinkin that if i rebuild it thats more money in it and then i cant see if it was all worth the money till after the long breakin process then it may just be a waste of time and money cuz i may have to go and buy one of the raptors

I would keep your options open, A new quad is your answer, just ride everythign you can get your hands on. What kind of riding are you into? The polaris outlaw, and suzuki z400 are great for the trials, Any 450 is great for the track, and can be used in the trails. 700's are reat bikes, but yes they are pricey.

we mostly ride trails and some home made LOL motocross and wind em out in open firebreaks every now and again along with some dragracin through the same firebreaks
my buddy the same guy that has the 660 *lucky a$$ has 2 660's a yfz450 and a blaster) has a yfz450 i rode it too and didnt care that much for it yeah it was fast but the seat was like sittin on a piece of plywood not good for 2 or 3 hour trips and i didnt like not having reverse on a midsized quad that can become a pain on tight trails or making new ones and in my opinion the raptor seemed faster and definitely more torque iwas just lookin to see if i would be wasting my time by buying a 350 raptor or not thanks for all replys

oo well if ur gonna be ridin trails then the yfz deff wouldnt be 4 u cz its made for basically racin only but yea the raptor 350 would prbly be pretty good if u go with that cz i know my warrior i like ridin on motocross tracks but its also good for trails also so if u go with the 350 ur most likely not gonna be dissapointed :)

thanks thats kinda what i was thinkin has anyone in here went from a warrior to a 350 rappy and if u did is there a difference or is it basicly the same if so ima get a 700 ;D

Basically I would fix the Warrior instead of spending the money on a new quad. However if you do go new, get the Raptor 700R, you said you ride trails and the rappy 700 is well suited for that. Plus it's a Yamaha. Rappy 350 isn't really that much different then a Warrior.

Are you stuck on Yamaha or are you open to other suggestions?

I'd say grab the bigger raptor if you already know you like the 660's. I think a 350 would disappoint you because there is not any noticeable difference in it and a warrior other than looks and riding position. They're pretty much the same as for running gear. The 700 might be pricey but it is still in my opinion one of the if not the best trail quad if you can handle it. The KTM powered Outlaw 525 would probably be my pick if I were to buy another one right now.

Ahh yes, the age old question.. to 700 or not to 700? J/K.. I just got approved at the yamaha dealer and am 99% sure my warrior is sold. They have all the new 700s in stock, but they also have a really clean 04 660 for 1/2 the cost of a 700. Maybe you should look at used?
