i razrs + new gnccs are known for wear..... big no no if your shy on the dough.
itp holeshots are known to be great- why because they are proven to win. dont let people fool you. itp is a great company with great products.
i ran the hds front and rear and never had a problem...hook up was amazing but the fronts did push slightly.
the kenda xc klaws work great and are incredibly cheap- 48 bucks for proven xc tires. klaws are known for great traction in the turns-where it counts. my mx klaws turn much better than holeshot hd fronts- reason why manny c-a class riders choose to run a klaw front and a different companies rear.
maxxis- i ran 4 ply razrs on the warrior and they were ok- didnt thrill me. liked to spin but all around a decent tire. when i switched to the holeshots all around you could feel instant hook up.
razr2s are heavy and do not perform well in the sand, still do great everywhere else....proven top be kick ass on the gncc circuits. front or rear.
if i was you, and i was really really serious about racing or the best possible set up for the money i would run the klaw front and hd rear....or the klaw front and 6ply maxxis razr 1 rear.
no one says you ahve to run the same companies stuff....whatever fits your style and budget. hopefully this helped. i have tried out a bunch of stuff in my days haha, so i dont tell you lies.
