Shifter hits big bear oil filter cover

Ok guys I have the big bear oil filter cover on my warrior and the shifter is set pretty low off the foot peg because if it was set to maybe level with the foot peg it hits the filter cover was just wondering if anyone else has run into this and what they did to make it comfortable to shift? By the way this site has been pretty sweet so far thanks

Thanks for the info guys. Was hoping there was just a different shifter I could buy but looks like I will be following the mod instructions.

Yea Its another project but I love the cooler so I guess I don't mind a little work lol

Ya well I'm about to have both on mine so ive had the same issue ive got a buddy milling me a custom one to work with the big bear cooler
