Shifter ?

Will any yz250 shifter fit on my 87 warrior.

it will without the pull start.

so if i keep my pull start off what do i cover the crank end with or do i just take off the slip on collar for the pull start assembly

If you take it off just get the newer cover along with the newer collar that splines on the crank. Or get the GYT-R cover to make it look nice haha

you can bend a shifter to make it work. I read of someone puting one in a vise to bend it

I did that but it puts the shifter at such a weird angle it sucked to shift.

wheres the cheapest place to get a GYT-R cover

Ebay, but you can just use a stock cover unless you are looking for the billet one.

i found mine on ebay. it was like 80. search the raptor covers. Or you could just get the stock plastic peace if your wanting to save money
