Shifting to reverse

whenever i switch to reverse for the first time, the bike rolls back a few feet like i didnt hold the clutch. it just kinda smoothly rolls back but really only does it the first time the reverse is used that given day. clutch problem?

mine does that too. nothing serious or anything to worry about.

It happens, Ur clutch pull isn't pulling the plates all the way apart completly.

the release point on the clutch is when the lever is barely pulled in so pulling it all the way in should separate the plates no? or are my plates really worn or something?

well if really concered and plane on replaceing your clutch I would throw an extra plate in there 1st. Mine jerks a little when I put mine in rev too.
