lol,trust me, i have read up on this subject,and no,it woundlt work for 3 reason's

1 mount's are diffret
2 gas tank is diffrent
3 seat is longer

and plus how many ute's let alone recon's that look like mine??

it depends on how far the your mounts are off from the 250ex ones, you might be able to use your sotkc mount and drill holes to make them work.

It's not nearly as easy as you guys are making it seem. The racks are what the front fenders mount to on the recon, there's nothing on the frame. I owned a recon for 5 years, and my brother still has the 250ex, so I have a good idea of what will and won't work. Nothing as far as how the plastics mount is the same, and the 250ex seat wouldn't even fit on a recon without modifying all the latches and stuff. Plus, I think the 250ex plastics look like **** anyways, i'd rather have the stock recon racks and plastics.

All personal opinion. I think the 250ex plastics (at least the original design) makes it look too much like a little kid's quad. Too round and toyish looking. At least when they're all stock and narrow with the baloon tires. My brother's doesn't look nearly as childish (for lack of a better description) as a stock one, but his is widened, and has nerfs and all the other basic sport quad stuff. Some may say that the new design looks awesome, but I can't stand it. I can't stand it when a manufacturer makes an entry level quad looks like a bigger faster one just to get more sales like that. If I was a 450r owner, i'd be furious about honda making their slower quads look just like it.
