Solenoid question

Hi,
Just a simple question, i just receive my aftermarket solenoid but it is not exactly like the original one,it came without any instruction, how can i determine what pole to use for the battery and what pole for the starter ?

do you maybe have a pic of it? are there any letters beside or near each pole?

Doesn't make a difference, all it does is connect the posts together when you hit the starter button, no way to hook it up backwards.
