solenoid question

my solenoid clicks and wont turn the starter but when i jump the solenoid terminals it will start . does this mean the solenoid is bad ..or could there be another problem .:argh:

could be the soleniod or start button, or a wire

When I hit the starter buttion my soleniod just clicks wouldn't. That mean my button is good

yeah, it's most likely the soleniod they are like 25 bucks new on ebay

well i just saved 25 bucks .. took the solenoid apart and there was a little corrosion on the contacts ..yea me lol :atv:
