Starting Problem

My 01 wolve stopped starting. I can pull start no problem. but the starter won't turn over. I thought it was the battery so I replaced it. It still won't turn the start over. It just clicks. I'm thinking that it is either my starter or solenoid. Is there a way to check to see which one it is or if either part is good?

Could also be neutral position switch. My neutral light was not coming on and would only flash a little here and there this weekend, and it wouldn't start. Gonna change it and see if that fixes it. I could get it started by holding the brake levers down though. Did you check the parking brake saftey switch? That could be it too. I got bit by that one already.
