The FST 500 stroker review said that FST used a kodiac battery. I'm going to use one in my hotrods stroker. As it sits with my current engine, it is a little labored turning over, with the comp ratio I have.

I'm gonna pull the new starter out Wednesday and put my brothers in and see if changes. Gonna see if I can see the one way while I do it also.

I know mine is a lot quicker than my brothers all factory one

So I put my brothers starter and solenoid on my warrior and I still got a slow start! I guess I am gonna try a one way bearing now and do a timing chain while I am in there. I have already order a vito advance key and a flywheel puller.

Do you guys recommend me getting a yamaha brand one way and chain? or do the ebay ones work?

Did timing chain, Yamaha starter clutch, although there was talk of a aftermarket starter clutch but no reviews of it. If there is a new starter clutch on eBay cheaper then cheapcycleparts.com has them get it, but make sure its new.
