I have a 2001-ish Warrior and I am putting my 1998 engine on it- the quad has been messed with by the proir owner so I am simply using my wiring harness I had from a stolen quad recovery and my own known good engine. The prob is the stator harness. The quad harness has three connectors- two two wire and one three wire. The engine has one four wire and one three wire. I have no idea how this happened since the engine and wiring were actually recovered from the same stolen quad! LOL Guess I pulled some wrong parts. Anyhow, I'd just like to know how to make this work out. Any help will be appreciated!!

Well, the problem is you need the electrical parts to all be from the same generation. I don't know what year that harness is from, and what year the stator is from, your info is kinda confusing. 2001-ish? You might be able to go through the service manuals and get color coded wiring diagrams if you know exactly what years each are, but your best bet would be to just get the right stator or a harness that isn't fubared like that, and not hack everything up. That harness looks pretty scary to me, I wouldn't even think about using it.

Well from the connectors to the stator is the part I am doing away with. The harness itself is fine.
I was hoping someone with some knowledge of Warrior wiring could tell me which era's I am dealing with here. I have a bunch of recovered parts- so I have no clear idea what years they are from, thus my question. The wire colors all match- the connectors do not. I have a Clymer manual, but it's not clear about connectors, only wire color.
I am like Johnny Cash building it one piece at a time...

in picture 2, them connectors look identical to the ones on mine, which i believer were used from the years of 1990 to 1995. the 4 prong plug is coming from the stator straight to the cdi box, used for ignition. the 3 prong plug coming from the stator is for the charging system. i would not in any way try to wire different style connectors together, but thats just my opinion. from the information you gave, im not sure where that style stator would have come from since it wasnt used on the years you have. im at college so i cant look in my manual to help with the other style connectors
