most of you guys probs dont ski but i have to vent someplace. so i bought $600 skis from france a few weeks ago and they came in monday while i was at school. i get home set them all up and my brother said he would take me skiing at a mountain last night(tuesday) after school. we drive up have an awesome time skiing and around 9 i go in to get out of my gear and walk back out and there gone.:argh: i look everywhere for them and cant find them. i go to security and there like i hate to say it but they where probly stolen.:argh: a guy call me into a room that has a bunch of monitors for there cameras and i start watchen and saw myself pot my skis on the rack leave and 5 minuts latter a guy walks over to them looks around and takes them. they have a full face shot of him but they probs wount find him unfortunately. i dont understand why people would do that it just pisses me off. the good thing is there specaily made skis and if i ever see them i know there mine and that guys day is gona end real bad. he dosent know he stole from a 15 year old thats 5'10 175 and can bench 240. sorry for such a long post but i had to tell someone

really sucks dude. My jeep got brokein into in HS and my whole CD collection got jacked. I has pissed beyond belief! Shoulda tacked on $15 to the $600 and got a ski lock. I bet that guy shows up there again with ur skis, that or watch your local CL list postings for them.

just got a lock and my parents said that they would split a new pair with me. im going to the same mountain again next week and im carrying my skis with me even tho it says not to bring them in the lodge but im not lossing another pair. i guess i wount have the money to get the new a arms i wanted ill just have to wait till summer when i start working again. and ya iv been looking at cl and ebay like twice a day hopein they will show up

or the pawn shops in nearby towns or cities, most people see a quick buck swipe what not theres and hit a pawn shop. most likely a drug addict needing money, there is nothing that pisses you off more than a thief.

I had a amp stolen out of my truck once, piss poor job, it had to be kids, cause they just ripped the wires off the amp, left them hanging, took my remote to the head unit and didn't touch anything else, left cd's and my junk. Little *******s, it was a cheap flea market amp any ********* thought they struck big.

can you register skis w the police like bicycles? if you can all you have to do it point out the registration and they are your again and the person selling them is required to prove how they got them..

i had my car broken into once.

they popped the "key cylinder" out and worked the linkage by hand... once inside they ripped the plastic off my dash only to find i had 4 phillips screws holding my cd player in... they apparenlty didnt have a phillips so they stopped there... but the did manage to steal my walmart neon light and cellphone charger... then they popped my trunk but the only thing they found there was empty beer boxes

i went to a job fair when i was a freshman in college.. at the time i had a cheapo ebay hea unit wire to a small amp/equalizer combo that was mounted on th eside of the console.. it was pretty fun to play w.. well i come out from the fair and find my window all over the place.. they destgroye my dash including the hvac knobs, emptied out my glove box center console.. it was depressing riving home in january in cleveland w glass everywhere.. in my "get a job" suit.

about 2 weeks later after i put another cheapie ebay head unit in i parked in my garage..dint remove the face.. and came out the next day.. they used one of my car ramps to smash my window again..destroyed the hvac and dash again.. this time they stole my gym shoes.. fuckers.. i loved those shoes.

thats sucks... thats yet another reson i like living in the sticks... hell i leave my keys in my ignition at night... hahaha **** im sure some of you guys know my exact address... if anything comes up missing im blaming this forum

where i live we leave our trucks running while we go into gas stations and our sleds running all the time to keep em warm. but i dont think im gona do any of thos things just because you never know whats gona happen if people really want them theyll take them unfortunately. and ill have to check about getting them registered
