Check your timing, and take it from there. Yes, it is normal to have fuel all over your hand if you completely block off the carb's inlet. Are you using an inline spark tester? If so, that is why the "spark" is orange.

No thats using the spark plug i have a tester but wasnt using it

Ok ill check the timing today once it warms up a bit, Fingers crossed... Hopfully when i go out it will be all charged up and have blue spark and start but whith my luck who knows. now i know why was 500$

Timing is in check. Valves look good. Flywheel Looks good, HAVE BLUE SPARK WITH FULLY CHARGED BATTERY.

Back to fuel, Spark plug never gets wet also tried to open drain screw in carb bowl and NO FUEL CAME OUT.... Gotta be tons of **** in carb im thinking. Im gonna remove tonight and post back.

then its your fuel petcock. pull your fuel line off the carb and turn the fuel valve to on and see if anything comes out

She livesssssss

OK so petcock is not clogged and neither is the fuel line itself but somewhere inside the carb is completely clogged i tried to blow air through fuel inlet and its clogged fully. Took float bowl off and theres so much gum. I spit a little fuel in intake after i took carb off and she fired right up instantly. :nanner::atv:..

Not a bad looking bike for the money.

Yea sadly the reason so cheap is i live right on border of nj we got hit VERY VERY hard by sandly and a tree fell on his garage and smashed everything inside this luckly made it and nowhere to keep no so thats why 575 lol. We getting hit by another north easter snow storm right now to add insult to injury smh

That is not the buy you always want to make. You feel more like you are taking it from someone. I've seen the footage in the new storm coming in. Good luck up there.

How far is the frame stretched on the 89?
and is safe?

Streched 6 inches and all welding done by me (certified welder) and i actually took solid 3/4 round stock steel and pushed as far in as i could about 1.5 feet each direction in bottom frame.(So i streched 6 inches but the whole bottom frame is now double the strenth of stock. Made 3 top support rails in the frame. I dont plan to trail ride this bike. ITS for the track and simply for bragging rights lol cause i had the motor laying in my shop and the 89 motor was shot sooo Thats how she was born.
