Mine dosent have as much gray on it but did have some like that
Plugs can have a slight greying on a perfectly jetted carb. Some of that has to do with the type plug and it's heat range. But, am engine can feel as though it is running fine through the whole rpm and the carb still no be jetted 100%. Was just wondering what the plug looked like so we had all the bases covered. Knowing that they are covered, do as everyone has suggested and look at the accel pump. Could be the jet is clogged, or hell, even facing the wrong way. I had one that the jet was stripped on, and was spraying back into the air box! lol.
When you move it down you are leaning it. That can make it exibit the problem he has. I think everyone has failed to ask one question... What does the plug look like for ALL 3 circuits.
Thanks! Lol thought you were talking about the plug most people dont know how to read how a plug works so I figured that would be helpful info. And it just all of a sudden started doing it I figured **** was in the carb might have been but it was clean but the eye cant see everything so it was cleaned too! And thank you for the info..Glad you got it fixed. I jsut wanted to know the whole kitten cobutle with it. I was talking about lowering the needle. Lowering it leans out the midrange circuit, and can give a hesitation when whapping the throttle off idle. Doesn't always happen, but I wanted to throw it out there.
Just because it looks clean doesn't mean it is. Lol. Also, I've put the STAR-TRON stuff in a couple bikes (just recently) that have been sitting for months (I cleaned carb too) and they run very well with it.
lol I will pass on thatI think you should buy one of these. lol
