Lowest I have found is 18, highest is 24? My dyno guy said he had one in there an stock it was 15, after 12 runs it was 17? Anyone know for sure?

i thought it was about 22hp stock. can't remember where that came from though.

Yeah, I got 22 as well. My dyno dude says that factory readings are about 3-5 higher then actual, they tweak the air density and temperature numbers. Dunno. I'm just interested to see what he can get outta mine. I dropped it off today.I think I'm the first guy on here to dyno there wardog! I get cool points yet again. Hahahah

sweet. I can't wait for results. Does he just put an extra long chain to clear the rear and hook it up to a sprocketed dyno?

No he uses a drum dyno.

With my math, and after talking to him on the phone, I got 32hp. Older model stock 400ex is 29hp, stock warrior is 22hp. Haven't ridden it yet, and he might be able to squeek another pony outta it, so we'll see. I guess the acceleration and carb problems I was having are all cured. I'm stoked to ride it now. Need to ask tons of question when I got to pick it us so I know when and how to make accurate tweeks.

I'll post my graph print as soon as I can get some money to get the damn thing back, hahahah.

My quad, "The Mad Cow": 33HP  ;D

We'll see, my quad weights a freaking ton. Gearing, tire size, rider and quad weight all make for variables.

On a side note, Looks like my next quad might be a Outlaw 525!

Hahahah hell no, keepin the wardog forever. Without the IRS. IRS sucks on a race quad!

so how much did 10 more hp cost ya? haha jk it's totally worth the look on the 400ex guys's faces

man i should find an atv dyno tuner around here wen i get the 400cc stroker in and see what i can pull on it but 10 hp would be worth 500 bucks lol

How much does a dyno pull on a quad cost? I can't even think of any places around here that do it but I'd be curious to see what the CBR motor is putting out with just a slip on and a rejet.

HP numbers don't really mean that much unless; you are comparing before a mod and after on the same dyno with at least fairly similar conditions so that you can see a % increase in power. Otherwise HP numbers are for marketing and bench racing. No two dynos read the same; one may say you have 20HP and another dyno read 30HP on the same bike with the same atmospheric conditions (exaggerated example, but you get the point). Atmospheric conditions can also play a huge role in dyno numbers.

ya but dyno tuning is well worth the mnoney, on my last sbc built they gained addition 75 hp just tweaking timing and carb on dyno

Ya it would be tough to have a race quad with irs especally on taking corners and drifting.
