Griff, I want to give you props on this. You have provided a TON of information and if i wasnt selling mine I would have did this if he is whilling to do it but im selling so theres really no point.

Already pretty much knew the fronts were total garbage....lol.

Well, it was only known they were setup shitty from the factory, what wasnt known is what, if any, upgrades could be made to them. That was the real question. Unfortunately, theyre just too cheaply made to be able to make other common shock parts work with them.

Thanks man, I appreciate that :) I'm always looking for better alternative, especially if it involves less money ;)

Shocks for motorcycles and ATV's are one of those markets where the pricing is based on which market segment a particular shock is for.

From a machining & parts perspective, there isnt much more involved in making an aftermarket rear shock, than there is making a single front shock. Yet a single rear still cost twice as much as two fronts.

Hi guys!
I think these shocks should be looked at. Im sorry its not in english but look at the price. The price is for 2 front shocks :)

299EUR is about $394USD, so $400 give or take, and thats not even including shipping to the US, or any import taxes/fees yet.

Interesting though.

I cant really see the warrior having enough travel to even really use a dual rate to its full potential. But either way im sure a dual rate would be better. I just like the looks of those thats all.

Does the Raptor 660 front shocks fit the Raptor 350 without mods and do the Warrior front shocks fit the Raptor 350?

Raptor 660 shocks on a warrior or rap 350 are too long without at least modifying the upper mounts on the frame (which I think is a bad idea because once you do that, you're committed to staying with them). Even after you modify the upper mounts on your frame, the shocks will still make the front end sit higher than normal.

Raptor 350 and warrior shocks will bolt up the same.

Thx bro! Im just wondering because i found this http://www.mxsouth.com/atv/progressivesuspension/progressive_suspension_shocks_512_series_atv_shocks.htm
And i wonder are they any good???
Did you read tha part at the bottom that says sold as single, not pair. Thats precious, and I love how they make it look like they are hiding someting with the shock covers over the springs. I wouldnt buy them just for that,, Thats like going to a quad dealer, and buying a quad, only the store wont let you see it before you buy it. This would be an awesome forrest gump moment.

Hmmm it looks like theres a 1 in front of the "sold singel, not pair" and the 1 is after Honda TRX300, TRX300FW and Kawasaki KVF300, 360, 400 Prairie. So i Think its 2 when u buy for the 2 Yamaha´s or am i wrong?

No idea, but just because its aftermarket doesnt mean its good.

ye raptorn is right for the hondas they are 125 a piece and for the yamahas they are 242 for both

Progressive shocks are more like a factory-replacement than an aftermarket upgrade. Those shock covers aren't hiding anything special, they even look like the stock shocks.
