Stock VS. Wiseco Piston Weights

just got back from talking to mr. Jessup he says a stock wrist pins with a 12:1 motor is completely reliable and need not worry so i ordered a oem wrist pin to put back in this motor to lighten it up a bit and means it will go faster!!

Dude just sayin, ever think about lightening the crank??

Dino is just showing off how much he's read online lol. Jk. But that has nothing to with what Weston is talking about. A single cylinder motorcycle motor is NOT built like a race car...

to get the weight of the wiseco below the stock piston i would machine the sides of the skirt like the JE pistons are.

Just put a OEM wrist pin it it, the jeis completely different then the wiseco so I wouldn't do that, but thats me.

He only lists a rough estimate of the piston shell weight, thats why I weighed the 12:1 I have.

Jason, you dont happen to know the dome cc on the 12:1 do you?
