So I went to adjust my valves today, and got off all but i couldnt get out the damn hex head bolt off the intake side!

any ideas? i tryed everything that sucker is on there TIGHT.

try to get a good bite with it with vice grips i did it before but then after you get it out you might need a new bolt if you are lucky you can re use it if it is not messed up from the vice grips

x2 on vice grips.. make sure you use a good pair and get that first bite really good.. any readjusting or slip offs will likely cause some catastrophic damage to the bolt.

You can also use a T-Handle hex wrench. Strike the wrench with a hammer, it will act like an impact wrench. I had the same issues with mine, and that's what I did.

pound a bigger allen wrench in it and maybe give it some heat... be careful tho, there is a rubber gasket in there and if you heat it too much youll be buying a new one

Whenever I strip an Allen head I hammer a 12 point socket over it and it comes right out.

Got it with a hammer a chisel and a pair of new vice grips.

you set the chisel next to the vice grips and just beat the piss out of it with the hammer?

Used the chisel as a wedge kinda to loosen the bolt a little and then the vise grips locked on and waaalahh! Haha
