The main cost will be the disassembley and assembly. It takes along time to split the cases. I noticed on www.tqsatv.com they still have 7mil cranks. Just something to look into.

A stroker motor period is a bomb waiting to go off. I mean hell yes i would have one if i could but the reliability just isnt there.

Im having second thoughts about putting that much money in a quad and its not going to help its value. What can i do with the stock bore and without splitting the case? I just want to get as much power as i can without spending a lot. Maybe a cam,kibblewhite valves and high comp piston? and maybe timing key? Anything else ?

That stuff and P&P the head. You could also throw in the bigger valve for more flow. A good carb, intake/filter will go along way also.

How much did you spend to have your motor work done for just the piston,valves and cam and any machining you did? I would probably be satisfied with a setup similar

Total was right at 850 i believe. But that was with me putting the top end back together.

Id recommend a bigger cam though but thats a really good set up

Just depends what this guy likes to ride. I like more mid power
