Not if you get them revalved. For an example, my shocks on the 700 were revalved, they are equal to the Elka stage 3 shock, and is much cheaper to do than buy new shocks.

I Haven't Saw a relocator on one. One guy rode MX with his YFZ shocks that were revalved on +2 a-arms. ST. And had no problems.
