Does anyone live in MA who wants to help? I have done this for many others, for troubleshooting the expensive cdi box to rule out buying a new one unnecessarily. I unplug mine and plug in theirs. If the quad runs fine, than that is not the problem.
Is there anyone near Boston with a 98 warrior who wants to help a fellow mechanic?

Thank you, but I'm just troubleshooting and testing. I don't want to just buy parts and hope they fix it.
But if I find out that mine is bad, I will take you up on that offer bro. Thanks again.

Why are you trying to discourage me, or discredit the post?
My buddie told me this site was really cool.
People here are very helpful.
I hope YOU are the only exception I will bump into.
Thanks for your input, Pinky, I'm sure there are tons of cool people that I will meet up with here to troubleshoot. Don't worry, I won't ask you pal. You probably have the dealer do all your repairs for you. Speak for yourself.

Good day my friend.

And it's noobs like you that are a pain in everyone else's ass. Geez is a old member and he has a point, you have no feedback, and almost no posts. Posts are like credibility And reputation. Your asking for a big jump of faith and now your bitching out and acting 5 to one of the oldest standing members with a elite quad and more knowledge then you. You can trouble shoot a Cdi by process of elimination.

I think you got the wrong idea. I'm not asking to borrow a quad and bring it to my shop. I'm asking to bring my cdi box to someone who has a 98 warrior, so I can plug in and see if their quad runs fine with my cdi. Do you see what I mean?

I wouldn't lend my quad to a stranger either. That thought never entered my mind.
Sorry for being so defensive, Mr. Elite warrior. I thought you were making fun. And couldn't understand why.
Just a misunderstanding. Soo easy within a text.

Update:
Today I stopped by the house of a really nice guy with a 97 warrior. He contacted me. We got his quad running and than swapped out his cdi and rectifier with mine. It started and ran fine.
He was happy to help and now i can rule those out and not pay a penny. Thanks to you all.
