That sound awesome. Kawasaki might gain a few more fans with a sport quad with reverse.

aint that the exact same link i posted in the other thread........

w/e, either way that thing is gonna be badass, but i have a feeling they are going to kag its look like they did with the kfx700.

Finally, a perfect quad for me. This very well might be my next quad.

The only thing that would stop me from getting a 450 is the lack of reverse, thank god for kawabunga!

Lmfao. Yeah. that thing looks sick. Kawasaki finally did something right. Hopefully it won't be styled the same as the 700, that thing was too big.

**** kawi and reverse lol.

Honestly reverse isnt even an essential part of riding, 50% of the time i dont even use it when i need to back up. Just more weight...

And thumbs down to the EFI, from what ive heard with the suzuki I think ill stick to carbs, (and i hope yamaha does too) especially when companies like edelbrock make it soo much easier to jet. When quads start using a mass air EFI id make the switch, but while they are on speed density systems ill stick to carbs.

Even with the release of all these new quads, yamaha is still always rated on top, and the other companies have had a few years now to step up. If i was in the market i know what i would buy..... Yfz 450 with the kickstart kit and the starter totally elminated.

Good man!!! Seriously... Who the **** uses reverse? When I had my warrior I didnt even have reverse on the machine (I took it off) - you dont need it (especially on a race machine).

And kawasaki wtf? Who the **** wants a kawasaki? They were out sold by some ****** Kymco Chineese company this past year lol.

I am sorry but if you base the purchase of a performance race machine like that on reverse then you dont belong on that type of machine; your better suited for a 4x4 or more tight trail oriented machine like a Z400 etc...

Maybe I'm not awake yet, but I don't see what you guy are going gaga over.

2 ****** photos that don't show much of anything???

Ooooohhh.....I'ts gonna have neato headlights.....Ooooohhh..... ::)

YOu dont use reverse much when u know your riding area or its a track, but on ice it comes in handy, or when u get stuck in mud and ****. Reverse has got me out of many things I did not want to pull myself out of, Its the best thing on the quad. Mike

I use reverse a lot as well. I have always liked yamaha but if someone else is going to make a better trail quad then I'll definitely sit up and take notice. It really depends on the price though. For the same money and weight, I'd take the rappy 700. But if it has piggyback shocks and is cheaper than the rappy I'd definitely check into it. Kawasakis are not bad bikes from what I've seen.

It's not like I'll be getting rid of my 350 anytime soon though...lol.

I love my reverse :D
But like death did, i'll probably remove it when i start racing........

nah, i still trail ride.
besides, i can beat any yfz in a race backwards, so i have something to boast about ;D

klutch.. sorry for reposting. I didn't see you post that link.

its just interesting to see the first 450 with reverse. everyone seems really dissapointed or angered. who knows if it rips or not?

the 450 mx bike is pretty sick thou. i'm sure this will be right up there.

also reverse is always nice. as of right now i don't miss a thing when i have a 450 under me. this bike isn't neccesarily targeted for us. what about those bigger older guys that want the power and perfformance of a 450 but had to buy a z400 because it suited their trail needs better?

reverse isn't all that bad, and at least they had the initiative to try something new.

will i buy one? no!!

do they look allright, i guess so. we'll just have to wait and see. i'm glad they didn't just stick another zuki motor in there thou. i have seen the ltrs in person many times and i am not impressed at all. yami or honda all the way on the 450s!

If I wanted a race quad Id buy a 250r/ yfz450 The reason for the warrior is elec start and reverse. Why buy a warrior to race on? Its a trail quad and apparently so is the KAWI which will appeal to many. I agree about people getting all ga ga over a pic of the side of the motor and the headlights(oooohhh) but Im just happy to see another manufacturer enter the bigger displ sport quad market. And edelbrock makes it easier to jet than efi????what are you smoking? There is no jetting needed for efi. When you get the quad pop off the pipe and airbox install new ones and start it up and ride. That seems pretty easy. Want to climb from sea level to 25,000 ft only stopping to have a coke and a smile? cant do that without jetting 4 different times on a carb
