I was looking a kawisuckies website and didnt see the KFX400 in there line up for 07 let along the 450.. Maybe im just missing somthing... And Yeah i couldnt agree with death more right now theres more down falls with the EFI then there is possitive but i guess after companys figure out what there ganna do with it im sticking with carbs.
kawasaki and suzuki are no longer partner's, they cant make the same quad as suzuki.

on street bikes EFI owns but on quads im sorry man if u know how to tune one you wont need the choke hardly ever nor will you need to make any changes besides when it gets real real cold.

*shrugs*

Talon over at www.ltr450hq.com made this picture with photoshop of the new kfx450.

All he did was paint an LT-R with Kawi colors and shop the engine in there and I'm almost positive it won't be a LT-R clone like the Z and KFX 400's..

I agree with you. But it was on topic so I posted it. I don't think it will be a clone either..

I thought with the raptor 700 you could just pop off the lid and bolt on a new pipe and the thing will automatically adjust? Maybe I didn't read the article right.

It can make small adjustments like elevation change and small mods, but once you start making big changes you have to put in command units.

Something that is going to solve all the EFI headaches and make them true hop on and ride is the new command modules that have O2 sensors on them. There are several companies that are running prototype modules with O2 sensors that they are having very good luck with.

With more and more bikes going EFI the aftermarket companies are going to be all over coming up with a control module that works like the one in your car that samples the exhaust emmisions and makes fuel adjustments accordingly.

Summary:

EFI + mods = $$$$

It will cost money but wont the gains be far greater ????? Especially when you can fine tune to your specific mods and how you ride em. Much like you have to move the carb closer and farther from the motor to produce more power where you want it . Hopefully soon they will have a system that adjusts to your rpms and throtle position so the power can be across the board rather than just down low or way up high. We all know they never send em out of the factory running on the ragged edge and we will immediately be able to get as much out of the motor as it can give. JMo Of course.

Yeah I saw his post on LTR450HQ, and right away didn't agree when he said "If history repeats itself this is what I think the KFX450 will look like" since it's been public for some time now that Suzuki and Kawi are no longer partners.
