I got a 2000 yamaha warrior that lost spark. Tested my pickup coil and got no reading. I ordered a new stator assembly off ebay a caltric stator. Soon as i got it took a reading 350 ohms on pickup coil. Sent a email to caltric. They are saying that is fine reading for aftermarket parts? My manual says 459-561 ohms on pickup coil. :???:

I can't see that being right. If I put an alternator in my car that runs at 60% of my OEM setting, I don't think my vehicle will be running right, I'm just saying. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think you got screwed man.

funny thing is i went to caltric main website. They dont even list a stator for a 2000 warrior.

I've got a new stator for an 01 I'll sell you for $50 plus the ride.

RMstator is all Ill use from the aftermarket. If you search the other names theres guys that have had one bad right out of the box.

got 2 Caltric stators 1 in the 01 and my buddy got 1 for his 94 not one problem they have the same 1 year warranty as RM only diff is 3X the price
even RM has had stators DOA its bound to happen they are electronic parts what do you expect nobody's perfect

Well they sent me 2 second free of charge. first one in my bike. Second one is reading 350 ohms on pulse coil. First one not starting my bike but i do have spark now.
