That's all I needed to hear thanks Pat
Really want to try a S1HC in this wolf to give it a little more grunt

No prob, Ed. Yeah, with the tall trans gearing they don't have much balls on the bottom end. That's why I suggested the 11:1 Wiseco and .415 Mega. Or you can run a 10.5:1 JE and ad some advance to the cam.

And I see what you mean on the power loss now with the front shaft back on huge difference!
I did find a really nice used warn 424 front shaft on ebay for $199 not that I can afford it but I can at least watch it lol

It'll make the bottom end feel stronger, but, it's performance gains are minimal. I used one on the first engine I built in my Warrior, and I can tell you that what I have now is way more powerful, and I'm not using that key. If altering the ignition timing/curve is what you're after, get a performance CDI that actually yields a performance gain.

Hate to be all "I told you so", but, I told you so! lol. Robs a lot of power. I've finally convinced my pop to get one for his 99 Fourtrax. It's just affording one! Honestly, unlocking the front wheels, and powering only the rears, will basically add 5hp. Maybe not quite 5hp, but it may as well be! I had a 2wd Fourtrax 300 for a short while, and it would pretty much fly! Our 4x4 Fourtrax's (we have 3) top out a 47mph on the right terrain. 2 of them have factory speedos.
