well i finally got blacky broke in and swapped it over to the fcr. not a huge gain on first test but as the tuning gets closer its pulling better and better.

the motor
02 warrior with 11:1 comp
scorpion slip on
stock air box
stock filter
weld in the exhaust grownd down
stock cam
no porting.

jetting is a 175 main stock needle set on the mid notch.
i think its a 53 pilot.

suggest running a 180-190 main, will revise as i do more tuning with it.

everything else is the same, i need to go up a notch maybe 2 to solve a low speed bog but this is hands down the best carb ive rode for a warrior/raptor easily out performs the 38mm mukuni i was running on walle HANDS DOWN not even funny!

the last picture is of the spark plug with the 170 it came with in it.

That is not the stock needle, remember weston? Lol. That is the "perfect" needle, according to all fcr owners. Glad you had pics. I almost forgot what it looked like. Lol. That wot is AMAZING! Unreal how fast you have to shift.

True dat! 13/38 with the 22's is great with my current set up. But that fcr needs atleast 14/38 and it'd pull it like nothing!

you sure were excited when you got it tuned..
i will post a vid in a min

It was ok if your doing wot pulls and flying thru a field but as far as trail riding goes... the edle is king. Im curious to see how the fcr would be on trails and hill climbs since its has the accel pump like the edle. I think thats what crimpled the mikuni in my eyes

ive been waiting on some one to figure this out ive been wanting to upgrade carbs keep us updated.

oh love the sockets/spacers

Its faster than the stock or 38, it fires so fast, its disturbing.. its extremely crisp on the response, I need to solve the low end stumble then it will be perfect. You woods riders would love it

Yeah it was mine. I tried and tried but could not get the bottom end dialed. I was having a hell of a time with it dying if I crammed the throttle to the stops from idle. It would sound like it sucked a lung full of air, and would slam stall out. Read on some forums about the accel pump squirting too much fuel and flooding them out. Tried disconnecting it but had no effect. Just got to the piont that I (A) needed the bike back, it was our shop for a good 5 weeks after the a arm incident. And, (B) I was frustrated with it. I have no probs tuning the 24 year old stocker. I'm not as proficant as weston, but I'm not a newb at it either. Lol. To tell the trueth, I've been ecstatic with the performance of my stocker as of late. With weston's air box, and my doing both accel pump mods, and polished the inlet and outlet of the carb, it ****** hauls ass! But, when weston gets that bitch dialed in, and I have the money, I'm getting another for the stroker. It is a killer carb, I really liked it. But, for now the stocker works perfect, and I can get the stroker broken in without having to go through carb tuning on a fresh engine.

Let us know all the settings when shes perfect! TANKS!

Ah sounds sooooo familar, lol. That's right boys and girls, the bike WILL squat down some when this carb is pushed to wot! It is amazing how fast they accel with this bitch on it.
